✨ Your Body Speaks Before Your Mind Does
Sessions open today!
People often ask what it looks like in my mind during session.
Pets, finances, jobs, relationships, health themes, vehicle repairs, children, past lives, and loved ones in God’s Dimension - Spirit shows what serves you for peace. Oh, and yes - they hear your prayers!
(Evening appointments every Thursday)
You know, something I remind my clients all the time is this:
Your body usually tells the truth before your mind is willing to admit it.
And honestly, I believe the Holy Spirit often uses those sensations to get our attention gently — sometimes more gently than we’d listen otherwise.
People come to me and say,
Mar, I keep feeling this tightness here… or this heaviness there… what does it mean?
They’ve seen those charts online that say things like, Chest = fear. Stomach = intuition.
Cute, but not quite the whole story.
You and I both know life is more layered than that — especially after loss.
So here’s how I explain it, just like I would if you were sitting across from me with a big cup of good coffee:
⸻
❤️ When you feel something in your chest
This is the heart talking.
Yes, fear can show up here — but so can grief, missing someone, love, even joy that’s too big to hold all at once.
Sometimes that pressure isn’t fear at all; it’s your heart saying,
Hey, I’m full today. Be gentle.
And sometimes… it’s God comforting you in a way that doesn’t need words.
⸻
🌿 When you feel it in your stomach
Okay, this one’s important.
People say stomach feelings are intuition, and they’re partly right —
but I always clarify:
that intuition is usually the Holy Spirit nudging you.
That’s God whispering,
Pay attention. Something’s off… or something’s right.
But the stomach also holds anxiety, dread, and the truths you’re not ready to look at yet.
It’s where grief drops in when you remember something unexpectedly.
So when your gut speaks, don’t panic.
Just pause and ask,
Lord, is this You guiding me?
I always say, our gut is an invisible umbilical cord to God.
⸻
🔥 When you feel it in your head
This is where anger shows up — pressure, heat, headaches, tight jaws.
But it’s also where overwhelm and overthinking like to camp out.
If you feel your head buzzing or tightening, it might be your mind trying to control a situation God never asked you to carry alone.
Meditate. Hum for a couple minutes. Rest that pretty head of yours!
⸻
😔 When you feel it in your face
Shame loves the face.
The flushed cheeks, the wanting to look down, the urge to withdraw.
This is that old human instinct of wanting to hide —
Adam and Eve stuff.
But remember: shame never comes from God.
Yet God will sit with you in it tenderly until you find your way back to truth.
So take a pause! And pray.
⸻
💪 When your muscles tense up
This is your body bracing for something —
anxiety, fear, unresolved emotions, or even an unsaid boundary.
Your muscles tighten when you’re carrying too much.
They loosen when you finally let God hold some of it.
⸻
So what’s the takeaway?
The body doesn’t give you strict labels.
It gives you signals.
And the Holy Spirit helps you understand what those signals really mean.
Your chest might be saying,
This matters.
Your stomach might be saying,
God’s nudging you — listen and obey.
Your head might be saying,
You’re trying to do this alone.
Your face might be saying,
You’re scared to be seen.
Your muscles might be saying,
Put this burden down.
Everything in the body is an invitation.
None of it is random.
⸻
A gentle practice for the week
Next time a sensation shows up, don’t judge it. Just ask:
Lord, what are You showing me through this?
Or if you’re grieving:
Is this my body remembering, or is this my heart speaking?
You’ll be amazed at how the answers rise — softly, clearly, in their own time.
⸻
If you want to explore this more deeply
If you’d like guidance on recognizing these physical messages, connecting them to God’s voice, or navigating grief with your body and spirit together, I invite you to book a session with me. We can work one-on-one to help you listen to your body, understand its messages, and find the peace and clarity God wants you to have.
With much love,
Mar ✨

I locked Coco out of the bedroom.
I’ll admit it.
I needed sleep and I thought, Tonight is the night I reclaim my REM cycles.
I didn’t realize Tonight is the night my entire nervous system gets judged.
But of course — of course — I woke up at 3:07AM, staring at the ceiling like a confused Gen X ghost. And before I could even sit up, the whole gang drifted in like they’d been waiting in my closet for their cue.
Catalina was first, whispering dramatically
Where do you feel this?
and poking me in the stomach.
Here? Intuition check? Holy Spirit hotline?
Joe leaned over me, wiggling his eyebrows like a dad-joke gymnast
Or maybe it’s heart stuff. Chest stuff. Big emotional downloads, you know?
Donna swatted him
Joseph, get your face out of her aura.
And then Sally arrived… floating, regal, judging the entire room with her usual “Dancing with the Stars” energy.
Good heavens, she sighed, you wake the woman up like she’s a medical mannequin. Give her space. She’s processing.
Meanwhile I’m still half-asleep, blinking at four dead people analyzing my organs like a celestial focus group.
Cat flopped on the edge of my bed, brushing her dark hair out of her face.
I mean, she continued thoughtfully, if your muscles are tight, that’s unresolved emotions. Like when I was alive and my ex texted me ‘k’ instead of ‘okay.’ Instant shoulder tension.
She rubbed her own ghostly shoulders for emphasis.
Textual trauma.
Joe raised his hand like he was in homeroom
So what about headaches? ’Cause I had a few of those before I kicked the bucket.
Sally offered him a dry look that could peel wallpaper
Head sensations, Joseph, come from overthinking. Frustration. Anger. Also poor hydration but that ship has sailed for you, darling.
Donna snorted.
Cat whispered get roasted under her breath.
Then Donna cupped her cheeks tenderly
Shame lives here, she said, tapping under her eyes.
Isn’t that sad? Our poor little faces trying to hide like Adam and Eve behind a ficus tree.
Cat nodded solemnly
Shame’s a face demon.
I groaned into my pillow
Oh my God…
Joe added
Chest = feelings. Stomach = intuition. Head = chaos. Face = Adam and Eve guilt.
Got it, I muttered.
They all looked pleased with themselves, like I’d passed a test I never signed up for.
But then—Sally softened.
She floated a little closer, arms gently crossed, voice warm but firm.
Darling, she said, your body gives signals. It doesn’t label. It whispers. And the Holy Spirit… helps you interpret what you can’t yet name.
The room quieted. Cat finally stopped poking my abdominal chakra.
Sally tilted her head at me, studying me with that sharp, loving, deeply-annoying wisdom of hers.
I’ve watched you in session, she said.
I’ve seen how you help souls find the words their bodies couldn’t. You’re doing very good work.
A pause.
A small smile.
A lifted brow.
Keep going.
And right when my eyes actually filled with tears, the bedroom door rattled—
Coco, furious at being locked out, letting out a full-throated MRAAAAW.
Sally sighed
Well. That’s your stomach sensation sorted. Fear.
